Our History

Established in 1988 by Mr. Harry Elias, Senior Counsel, our Firm is conjoined with the evolving legal landscape. In the past 22 years, we have been on the cutting edge of legal changes. We have been privileged to be involved in cases that were first to break new ground resulting in watershed judicial decisions’ such as the Raffles Town Club, Horizon Towers and Digilandmall.com cases. We were also involved in a series of construction masterpieces in Singapore such as Marina Bay Sands Integrated Resorts, Singapore F1 Night Race (Pit Building) and Singapore Flyer. We have worked on complex cross-border deals, advising leading corporations. The Firm has been described as one of Singapore's top law firms and best-known law firms. In leading legal publications, the Firm has been described as a Firm that punches above its weight and is renowned for providing focused and proactive advice for its highly diversified clientele. Our Present

Our Managing Partner, Mr. Philip Fong, a Partner of the Firm since 1995, chose to lead this Firm as Managing Partner because he desired to help people. Taking over the helm since January this year, he has re-defined the goal for the Firm which encapsulates what the partners do everyday.

Our partners are intense in their focus and work. Our clients enjoy the direct personal attention of our partners, offering them effective legal solutions within the larger framework of strategy and business objectives especially during mission-critical moments. Armed with professional expertise, our partners will continue to innovate and achieve scalability with our clients.
