| Claudia is Head of the Firm’s
Corporate and Financial Services Practice Group.
Her main areas of practice are in corporate finance
and M&A transactions throughout Asia. She
has more than 17 years of experience in corporate
finance, advising on initial public offerings
on the Singapore Stock Exchange, listing of convertible
securities and REITS where she advised the managers
in the listing of the first Pan Asian REIT with
an initial property portfolio of SGD$700 million
(voted the 9th largest deal by Asian Counsel magazine).
Claudia has also acted for several listed companies
in placements and rights issue exercises and is
currently advising on a reverse take-over transaction.
Most recently she advised Singapore Health Partners
in the SGD$250 million syndicated loan facilities
in relation to the first mediplex comprising a
hospital, hotel and medical centre in Singapore.
Before joining Harry Elias Partnership, Claudia
practiced with a local law firm and an international
law firm in Singapore. Prior to that, she lived
and worked abroad for 12 years in both London
and Hong Kong where she also practiced with two
Hong Kong law firms, advising on initial public
offerings and compliance issues on the Hong Kong
Stock Exchange.
Claudia is a sought after speaker for professional
seminars and symposiums and has contributed a
few articles to legal journals like the International
Law Office.
Claudia is dually qualified as a barrister and
a solicitor of England and Wales and is admitted
to the Rolls of Solicitors of Hong Kong. She was
called to the Singapore Bar in 1990.
